Like the people the animals and dinosaurs before us.

Look up and i see blues greens leaves and trees of all sizes shapes and species

Feel that breeze tickle your skin and touch your hair

Get lost in your thoughts and  the fresh clean air

But beware. 

We gotta take care of this beautiful planet of plants and water everywhere 

So we have peace with each other love one another 

And respect each one of our sisters and brothers and mothers and kids 

And all our relatives making a system of hope where we can all give 

Much love to those close and even far away 

Because even when we argue what we want is the same

So before it’s all gone we’ll sing this song so Mother Nature can live on and on and on

How far will we go what toll will we take

Our life is the land - we are one hand in hand

 

Our oceans our oceans (So beautiful right?)

But that’s not all they’re crucial in our lives

They make food, medicine, (aquatic habitat)

Not only that – They make air (almost half)

But those kelp, those kelp are starting to yelp

(Why?) Because of carbon di-ox-ide (CO2)

You’ve heard of it right? It’s making us hot

It’s in the air but it’s in the ocean too

It makes the water acidic which means no more shells

No more coral or reef (No more sweet swells)

We’ve got to cut the chains of our colonial roots

And stop this thoughtless resource use

That’s why we’re making hope spots 

(National parks) in the water where biodiversity thrives

We’ve gotta (make waves to save our waves)

We’ve gotta drastically change our ruinous ways

We’re saying no to plas-tic (‘million bottles a minute)

No to fossil fuels (Before we lose our cool)

Now there’s hope my fam cause’ sun is cheaper than coal 

And we’re makin some eco-logical goals

We’ve got our sights set on tomorrow’s child

‘Cuz the next five years matter more than awhile

So please my hive, let’s keep us alive

Let’s use our mind’s eye (so we all can thrive)
